July 21 (Saturday):  North Shore Ride (with MA-11).  Ride to Lynn (tour fire alarm museum), Lunch at Porthole Pub, Nahant and Marblehead.  MA-3 members will meet at 9:30 a.m. at Honey Dew Donuts, Routes 24 & 104, for the ride to Lynnfield to meet up with MA-11 members at Lynnfield South Fire Station, corner of Salem and Summer Streets, Lynnfield.

2011

April 10 (Sunday):  Third Annual Motor Officer Bike Blessing and Rodeo held at 690 Quaker Highway in Uxbridge.  Grounds open at 10:00 a.m., with officer’s procession arriving at 11:00 a.m.  Officers (including police, fire, military and veterans) are welcome to attend riding civilian or department motorcycles, as well as plain clothes.   Website:  http://motorofficerblessing.com


April 15 (Friday):  Fundraiser for family of fellow firefighter Tom Souza who died February 20.  Location:  Elk’s Hall, Fall River, at 7:00 p.m.  Donation $15 per person, or $30 per family.  Cash bar.  Raffles.  If unable to attend, donation can be sent to Marlene Souza, 61 Bayview Avenue, Berkley, MA 02779.


April 23 (Saturday):  Open  (Easter Weekend)


April 30 (Saturday):  State Meeting hosted by MA-3 at Berkley Station #1, 5 North Main Street, Berkley 02779.  Meet and greet 10:00 to 10:30, chapter sales of merchandise from 10:30 to 11:00; meeting from 11:00 to 12:00, with a spaghetti lunch served immediately upon conclusion of the meeting.


May 7 (Saturday):  [Mother’s Day weekend]   3rd Annual Headstone Run in support of WreathsAcrossAmerica.org   $20 Donation.  To raise funds to place Wreaths ($10.00 ea) on Veterans’ Graves for the Holiday Season.   Pancake breakfast & registration 10-12:00 at the Holbrook Knights of Columbus, 25 Technical Park Drive, Holbrook, MA 02343 (Rt 37 towards Brockton first right after the Halfway Café).  Then ride to The Hilltop Athletic Association, 65 Pottle St., Kingston, MA.   Live Band, Cookout, Bikini Bike Wash, Burnout Contest, Raffles, Horseshoe Pits.  Info: HeadStoneRun@gmail.com     Or call Matt Nelson (781) 510-9844    Website: NewEnglandWarrior.org


May 14 (Saturday):  Venco Wings, Open House, 815 Route 129, Loudon, NH

May 21 (Saturday):   Ride to Rowley, Newburyport, Plum Island (with MA-11).  MA-3 members will meet at 9:30 a.m. at Honey Dew Donuts, Routes 24 & 104, for the ride to Lynnfield to meet up with MA-11 members at Lynnfield South Fire Station, corner of Salem and Summer Streets, Lynnfield. 


May 22 (Sunday):  Newton Memorial Day Parade.  Staging is at 2:00 PM at Our Lady's Church. 573 Washington Street, Newton, MA 02458.  Invitation extended by the Veterans Counsel of Newton.  RK MA-3’s placement is just behind the Newton Fire Department Honor Guard.  The parade route is about 2 miles long and follows streets wide enough for basic maneuvers.  A reception, for parade participants, will be held at the Legion Post immediately following the parade.

May 1 (Saturday):  Ride to Boylston for photo op at the Firefighters Memorial (after World’s Largest Poker Run)


May 7-9:  RK Spring Weekend in the Berkshires (with outings to Rockwell Museum and NY Firefighters Museum).


May 14 (Friday) 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.:  Chapter 15’s 1st Anniversary Trophy Party, Boston Fire Hall, 55 Hallet Street, Dorchester.   [See e-mail with flyer from Chapter 15 for details including rooms available at Ramada Inn.]


May 15 (Saturday):  10 a.m. to 12 noon:  Red Knights Spring Meeting (hosted by Chapter 15).  Boston Fire Hall, 55 Hallet Street, Dorchester.

August 7 (Saturday):  Ride and rodeo to benefit Boys & Girls Club Summer Camp. 

Leave  Durfee High School 360 Elsbree Street Fall Riverat 11 a.m. 

Ride ends at the Summer Camp in Assonet.  [Please note:  Request that no colors be worn at destination.]  Request for our participation came from a Berkley firefighter and MA-3 member Joe.
