Stopped to check on the distance
to lunch on the way up
Allan, Doris, Jim, Claudia,
George |

Cant go by a fire station without
taking a photo |

It took a while but we finally
made it to Sandi's cousins place for lunch on the trip up. |

This place has been in Sandi's
family a long time |

Jim, Claudia and George at a gas stop |
|

We made it to the hotel in 6
hours.
|

Barre Vt. Town Square |

Vermont is known for it's BIG
eggs
|

One of our day trips was to the
Vermont Country Store
|

Not sure that this was the
Vermont Country Store, but it seems that we were always looking at wine.
|
|

After "Betty" the GPS told us we
were at the store and we weren't, we reverted to the old paper maps to
clarify which way we were going to go next.
George, MA-2 Walter, Allan Nunes |

We made it to Woodstock for
lunch, shopping and a "look-about". |

THIS is why we parked where we
did |

Woodstock is so trusting they
leave gas line out for anyone who might need some |

Sandi got the bright idea that we
should visit the Sugarbush Farm |
|

What she neglected to tell us is
that to get there we needed to drive 2.8 miles of dirt road! |

We saw a "cheese cow"
|

A "cheese room"
|

Allan and George got to know the
"veal for supper" calf
|

And we saw a Vermont "cowch"
|
|

Another day and another trip.
This one was to look at covered bridges.
|

The Howe Bridge is for lovers |

Then there was the Mill Bridge
|

Allan Nunes
|

Doris Nunes
|
|

George |

We even found a new bridge |

Then there was the RED bridge |

There was some question of weight |

The Robins Nest bridge |
|

The South Randolph bridge |

And FINALLY the Taftville bridge |

Waiting for the ferry to New York |

MA-2 Walter and his daughter
Karen |

One way to keep your bike stable
on the ferry is to stay on it. |
|

Another stop for lunch |

Lining up for the parade into
Rutland |

Looking back on the parade |

Al Holmes in the mirror |

Everyone comes out to watch the
parade |
|

Parked in Downtown Rutland |

Allan, Doris and George eating
supper in Rutland after the parade |

Jimmy and the Parrots in Rutland |

Honest officer... Allan and I
were NOT thinking about stealing your bike |

Our last night in Killington was
spent at Moguls where we received "free stuff" from the Jagermeister sales
man.
Who wouldn't want the job of
riding this bike? |
